Sydney, Australia Mamamia Full time

Mamamia is on the lookout for a Podcast Producer to join our best-in-class Podcast team.

But first, here's a bit about us.

Mamamia is Australia's largest women's media company.

Our core purpose is to make the world a better place for women and girls. That's what guides everything we do. And, uh, we do a lot. Mamamia reaches seven million women each month across our written, video, audio, and social platforms and we have the largest women's podcast network in the world.

**What we're looking for.**

As Podcast Producer at Mamamia, you'll be the creative force behind our compelling audio content, crafting engaging stories across our daily, weekly, and seasonal shows. Working closely with our talented hosts, you'll shape episodes from concept to delivery - from researching fascinating guests and crafting compelling scripts to recording, editing, and distributing episodes that keep our audience coming back for more. Your attention to detail and passion for storytelling will help drive both audience growth and engagement across our podcast network.

**Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us**:

- You're an experienced podcast producer who can masterfully manage multiple shows, from daily to seasonal formats, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality audio content on deadline
- You have a keen ear for compelling stories and the research skills to match, able to pitch relevant topics and source expert guests that will resonate with our audience
- You're an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with hosts, guests, and commercial partners while ensuring sponsorship deliverables are met seamlessly
- You have strong writing skills and can craft engaging scripts, show notes, and promotional content that captures our audience's attention across all platforms
- You're technically proficient in audio production and distribution, comfortable with managing remote recordings, sound checks, and multi-platform distribution
- You're a collaborative team player who understands audience insights and can work effectively with audience development teams to grow and engage our listener community

**Now, a bit about you.**
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong audio editing skills (Adobe Audition preferred)
- Experience booking a diverse range of guests for a variety of topics
- Ability to give and receive effective feedback with curiosity and respect
- Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt a measured approach in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Ability to research, find and book guests for both short and long-term projects
- A strong commitment to continuous process improvement, initiatives, and ability to solve problems creatively

**Life at Mamamia.**

We're fast-paced, innovative, and deeply collaborative. Mamamia feels small enough that you can create real and tangible change, but has the structure to support your ideas with experienced and industry-leading teams, and deliver them to an audience of millions of women every month.

We have a startup spirit within a scaled-up business structure and we're incredibly proud of the culture and community we've created. Our team is inclusive, passionate, and fun (..although apparently, not very modest about it); many lifelong friendships and connections have been forged in Mamamia HQ.

But enough about us, let's talk about how we can help you. At Mamamia, we want to support all of our staff in kicking as many career goals as possible so that's why we'll support you in getting involved in the things you're actually interested in. Think you might want to broaden your scope? Get exposure to another team in the business? Try something new and develop your skills? We'll help you make it happen and cheer you on the whole way.

On top of all that, Mamamia also offers:

- Flexible working conditions (Hybrid working model)
- A day off to celebrate your birthday
- Additional leave for years of service, plus annual rewards to celebrate your work anniversaries
- Paid parental leave
- Enjoy paid volunteer leave to support RizeUp, our charity partner.
- The opportunity to work for a purpose-driven company and help us make the world a better place for women and girls.
- Access to MOVE by Mamamia-our exclusive platform offering a range of workouts you can do anytime, anywhere, with no equipment needed.
