**Work alongside a team of professionals to train and assess Support Workers in the workplace to ensure high quality care and service is delivered.**

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced trainer and assessor to support our teams in the delivery of high quality training to provide services to participants and their families.

**What you’ll do**:

- Facilitate small training sessions for workers to support participants
- Assess and coach workers in the workplace to ensure newly learned skills translate into practice
- Develop and maintain training materials as required
- Inform and liaise with supervisors on required skills and development for Support Workers
- Ensure all training documentation and record keeping is accurate

**What you’ll bring to the team**:

- Qualifications and/or previous experience in teaching or training with understanding of adult education and learning principles
- Minimum three years’ experience working in the disability sector
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Ability to communicate information clearly and accurately, including presentations to small groups
- Well-developed computer literacy skills in Microsoft programs
