**Community Support Worker**

**Location**: Hills LGA
**Employment Type**: Casual / Part-time
**Pay Rate**: As per SCHADS Award

**About the Role**

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable **Community Support Worker** to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you will deliver person-centred care and support to individuals in their homes and within the community — helping them maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Assist with meal preparation, light domestic duties, and grocery shopping
- Support clients with medication prompts and wellbeing checks
- Accompany clients to appointments and community outings
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement in daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes

**About You**
- Genuine passion for supporting others and promoting independence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to meet individual client needs

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as per current guidelines)
