**About Ravenhall Correctional Centre**:
Ravenhall Correctional Centre is part of The GEO Group Australia, based west of Melbourne and is Victoria's largest prison for adult sentenced and unsentenced males. It's contemporary campus-style design provides a safe and humane environment that enables and nurtures GEO's Continuum of Care operating philosophy.

Ravenhall also has a dedicated Forensic Mental Health Unit, a specialised Closed Supervision Unit for prisoners with significant challenging behaviours, and a small Mission Based Unit for prisoners who have never been in custody before. In recognition of the importance of Continuum of Care, Ravenhall extends its presence into the community by providing ex-prisoners with access to post-release support at GEO’s Community Reintegration Centre.

**About the Opportunity**:
The Coordinator, Assessment and Reintegration is responsible for providing support to the Manager, Transition and Reintegration. The Coordinator has knowledge and experience in assessment, case-management and reintegration planning.

The Coordinator, Assessment and Reintegration assists with the provision of direct guidance and support to the Assessment and Reintegration Specialists. They manage the supervision and coordination of the work of the team including completion of relevant assessments and provision of individual and group-based reintegration services. They also provide assistance with quality assurance processes related to this role and work collaboratively with Ravenhall’s Alliance Partners and other program areas to meet the reintegration needs of prisoners.

**Your Skills & Experience**:
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
**Essential**
- Post-graduate qualifications in Social Work or other related field. Social Workers will be members of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated training and experience in contract management with direct experience in managing governance, compliance and risk.
- Prior to supervisory or line management experience in roles that required high level leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, financial and human resource responsibilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of research and evidence related to positive resettlement and reintegration outcomes for people released from prison.
- Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills that ensure positive relationships are built and maintained with staff and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a multidisciplinary team whilst role modelling positive values and behaviours and to promote vision, direction, team harmony and provide supervision, coaching and mentoring.
- Experience in the facilitation of staff training and professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines to achieve prescribed outcomes

**Desirable**
- A Masters Degree in Social Work or other relevant field.
- Previous experience working in an institutional setting or with mandated clients
- Membership of relevant Professional Bodies or organisations.

**Other Requirements of the Role**
- Ability to work within a correctional setting, which will involve direct contact with prisoners.
- Valid and current full Australian driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Work outside of ordinary business hours may be required on occasion.
