**About the role**
The Factory Manager reports to the Manufacturing Manager. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing performance, leading a multi-disciplinary team, including resource planning, quality assurance, safety compliance, and systems improvement. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Lead and manage daily production operations across steel-framing manufacturing, ensuring output meets quality and delivery standards.
- Oversee workforce planning, training and performance management to maintain a high-performing, safety-first team.
- Monitoring performance and KPI’s.
- Enforce WHS protocols and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and senior management to align production with business goals.
**About you**
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a factory or production leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with improving production and performance within a factory.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow design and optimisation.
- Understanding of the lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Tertiary degree in Manufacturing or related field is not essential, but highly desirable.
