Join our fast-paced Sports Editorial team, where we bring brilliant storytelling to life across our digital platforms - driving growth and awareness of sport both in Australia and internationally.

We are currently seeking a Digital Reporter - Combat Sports to join our dynamic team.

**Your responsibilities**
- Produce and edit high-quality, timely content with a focus on increasing user engagement, audience growth, and subscriptions
- Pitch and develop original story ideas that align with the editorial strategy, particularly around Pay-Per-View events and major fights
- Stay on top of major issues and events across combat sports to ensure comprehensive coverage of breaking news, live events, and trending topics
- Promote content effectively across the website and social media platforms using compelling headlines, engaging story sells, images, and video
- Take ownership of digital performance metrics, using data insights to understand user behaviour and refine content to meet audience demand

**Skills and Experiences We’re Looking For**
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience reporting for a digital sports news network.
- Proven track record of working in innovative digital news environments, delivering compelling stories across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Combat Sports is essential, with a broad understanding of other major sports considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with editorial and production teams.
- Passionate about sports, with a talent for engaging wide audiences through creative and informative storytelling.
- Skilled in leveraging social media platforms to amplify content, drive traffic, and grow digital audiences.
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable - always ready to respond to evolving priorities and editorial needs (Flexible and willing to work weekends to support live combat events and breaking news coverage)
