**A Little About This Role**
- Be across all the key issues and events in sport - especially rugby league - to ensure appropriate coverage of breaking news, live events and talking points
- Promote content on site and via social media channels, using engaging headlines, story sells, image and video
- Take accountability for, and respond to, digital readership metrics to gain a better understanding of ever-changing user trends and deliver what our audience wants

**Skills and Experiences We’re Looking For**
- You have at least 1-2 years’ experience reporting at a digital sports news network
- You have worked in an innovative news space, telling stories and engaging audiences in an exciting way
- You have a passion for sports and enjoy communicating that love to a broad audience
- You have detailed knowledge of rugby league and, ideally, a wide variety of sports
- You have extensive experience leveraging social media to tell your stories and drive traffic to websites and apps
- You can work efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced team environment
- You are reliable, flexible and proactive
