Carepro Disability Services are seeking qualified Team Leaders to join our field staff network in Sunbury and surrounding areas to provide quality services to our participants. The Team Leader role provides an integral link between our Support Workers and the coordination team.

As a Team Leader you ideally will have supervisory and direct support work experience with a passion for working with staff who are dedicated to the needs and wishes of our participants.

Team Leaders will be required to implement client support plans and provide a range of supports such as:

- Provide direct hands on support with personal care / domestic assistance / community participation / mental health support
- Work with participants who may require specialized high care skills (we will give you the training and resources you need)
- Develop a good understanding of the participant and their support team
- Coaching, mentoring and supervising support workers
- Reviewing and assessing services for participants
- Manage complex and challenging behaviors and be able to implement PBSP strategies when needed
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities via progress notes
- Organising staff rosters, schedules and providing back up support when required
- Develop potential resources and relationships within the community

**Team Leaders must have the following**:

- Double dose Covid-19 Vaccine and third dose if eligible
- Car and valid Australian drivers license
- Vehicle insurance policy
- Well spoken and written English
- Must have or have recently applied for NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have completed NDIS Orientation Module
- Must have minimum Cert IV in Disability or other relevant qualifications
- Must have at least 6 months experience
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepover / active nights, weekends and public / school holidays with significant availability
- Flexibility to innovate within a changing environment
- Experience with complex care participants and Autism, ideally within SIL accommodation
- High challenging behavior skills
- Proven ability to work in, lead and motivate a team
