**Job Summary**:
Solomons Flooring, a leading franchisee in the flooring industry, is currently seeking professional Floor Layers/Installers as subcontractors for various projects. This position involves the installation of a variety of flooring types such as carpet, hybrid, laminate, and engineered floors.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Properly install carpet, hybrid, laminate, and engineered flooring according to industry standards.

Provide excellent customer service, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Prepare installation sites by removing existing flooring, cleaning and leveling the surfaces.

Measure and calculate the size of rooms to determine the amount of flooring materials needed.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with the sales team and other installers.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Resolve any installation-related issues promptly and professionally.

Complete all projects within the provided timeline, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a Floor Layer/Installer with a deep understanding of installing various types of flooring including carpet, hybrid, laminate, and engineered floors.

Strong knowledge of installation tools and flooring materials.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to professionally resolve any issues.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must have the necessary tools for flooring installation.

Must have insurance coverage (Public liability and workers compensation).

**Physical Requirements**:
Must be able to lift heavy equipment and materials.

Comfortable bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
