McLean Packing Staff Pty Ltd is a family-owned agricultural company located in Pittsworth Queensland and is now one of the largest egg producers in Australia.

**Job Overview**

As the Grading and Packing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing agreed innovative production techniques, manufacturing methods, and control procedures at the Grading and Packing Facility. You will also be required to oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure that all eggs are sorted, graded, and packed according to company and industry standards. You will be required to manage a large team and ensure that all equipment functions correctly to maximise our quality and efficiencies.

**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience in leading a manufacturing site to achieve production targets and growth strategies;
- Bachelor Degree or higher qualification is essential;
- Advanced leadership and conflict management skills;
- Proven experience in consistently delivering results, and exceeding service and budget targets with superior analytical and problem solving ability;
- Proven ability and extensive experience to motivate, develop and manage a large team of employees;
- Thorough understanding of SQF, HACCP, Food Safety and Food Quality standards;
- Superior communication skills, with the ability to write reports and correspondence
- The ability to speak clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Proven ability to solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of situations;
- The ability to work cooperatively with workers of all levels and abilities.

**The Opportunity**

This new senior opportunity will report directly to the Poultry Operations Manager, your responsibilities will be wide ranging with some of the main tasks for this role being (but not limited to):

- Maintain a highly engaged workforce with a fundamental culture of continuous improvement, quality, passion, respect and innovation;
- Actively manage the manufacture of quality food products that meet stringent customer and company expectations;
- Manage the Manufacturing operations on site ensuring product is made in full, on time and within budget;
- Safe and secure operation of the site, ensuring the safety and protection of all employees, contractors, visitors and assets at all times;
- Effective collection of relevant KPI's and other reporting as required;
- Drive continuous improvement principles;
- Closely monitor and report site performance in the areas of production, maintenance, and quality;
- And much more.

**Mclean Farms conducts random drug and alcohol testing across it's sites**
