Perth, Australia Workforce training Full time

Are you passionate about health and safety? Do you have a knack for teaching essential life-saving skills? We're looking for an experienced First Aid Trainer to join our team and help elevate our safety standards.

**Location**: Perth CBD
**Schedule**: 1 day per week (day can be flexible)

**Key Duties**:

- Deliver first aid training courses to a diverse range of participants.
- Customise training content to meet the specific needs of different groups.
- Conduct assessments and provide certifications according to national standards.
- Ensure all training materials and equipment are up-to-date and in good working condition.
- Provide guidance on the latest first aid techniques and changes in regulations.
- Engage with participants to foster a safe learning environment and encourage questions.
- Maintain records of training sessions and participant progress.

About you
- You are well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills
- You have previous experience in education/training based role and/or experience in the relevant industry
- You have excellent presentation skills; including a positive and professional work manner
- You have the ability to priorities work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressures
- Knowledge of the industry Training Package and guidelines

Necessary qualifications:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) including LLN units
- Relevant/current industry experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.65 - $69.48 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (required)
