Star Aviation are Australia's most dedicated ground handling service, with over 20 client airlines spread across ten airports Australia-wide. Due to expansion, we have a newly-created role for a Logistics Coordinator in our Mascot Head Office.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for receiving and distributing airline associated rotatable stock, ensuring efficient receiving processes, and be able to promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate container handling equipment.
- Responsible for the prompt loading and unloading of bulk products to the warehouse or on to trucks / vehicles.
- Place, track, trace and check orders, including accurate preparation and receipt of documentation for order processing/receipting.
- Storing, packing and retrieval of goods and materials in accordance with procedures and/or regulations.
- Picking and checking loads of pallets/bags/cartons/bulk product for collection.
- Adhering to quarantine/customs rules and regulations.
- Allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas.
- Ensure appropriate housekeeping of the work area and a safe work environment.
- Perform stocktake.
- Collaborates and communicates with service providers, and others nvolved in the shipment and receipt of products.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience within the Aviation and/or Logistics/Transport Industry.
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to Work Health and Safety
- A valid driver (medium or HR) license
- A current Forklift license
- Excellent computer and data entry skills
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - desirable
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment - desirable

This is a full time role, working from 7:00am until 3:00pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (includes any Public Holiday that falls on those days).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
