We have just started the search for the best **Events Coordinator** in Australia. The right person for this role will bring experience planning and running projects or events, working with multiple stakeholders to coordinate outcomes. Experience as an EA, wedding coordinator, party planner or project manager will be valuable in this role.

You will be involved all aspects of event coordination, from concept development to on-site execution, ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards and within budget. This is an exciting opportunity to lead events that strengthen our brand, build relationships, and showcase First Focus’s culture and capabilities. If you have planned and delivered events end to end (ideally in a B2B context) and have a passion for technology, this could be your next big thing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Event Management**: Plan and execute events, including executive roundtables, lunch and learns, customer peer groups, and solution focused workshops.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Handle venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, AV setup, travel arrangements, and any technical requirements.
- **Marketing and Communication**: Create event-related content, including invitations, promotional materials, and social media campaigns, in collaboration with the marketing team.
- **On-Site Operations**: Lead on-site event execution, managing logistics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- **Post-Event Reporting**: Evaluate event success, gather feedback, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for future improvements.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, client services and leadership, to align event objectives with company goals. Will need to have a strong ability to delegate as well.

**Requirements**:

- **Proven Expertise**: Extensive experience in event coordination for events ranging from 30 to 500 attendees
- **Project Management**: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse teams, clients, and vendors
- **Problem-Solving**: A proactive, solutions-focused mindset to address challenges as they arise
- **Budget Oversight**: Demonstrated experience in managing and optimising event budgets
- **Technical Knowledge**: Proficiency with event management tools and platforms is a plus
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when required
