Temp Accounts Clerk to fill the below-mentioned availability:
Role Details

Duration: 8 weeks

Primary responsibility is for Accounts Payable and which incorporates performing accounting and related administration support functions.

Other functions include:

- Monthly preparation of suppliers’ reconciliation where necessary and review of reconciliations prepared by Accounts Payable Supervisor.
- Timely payment of creditors
- Performance of input process
- Management of maintenance of creditors files.
- Assist the Financial Controller with the investigation and resolution of issues/problems or processes.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and with management.
- Assist Accounts Payable and Receivable staff when required.
- Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Attend and participate in meetings as required. Any other duties as required including but not limited to:

- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
- To achieve target dates agreed to for the complete input of accounts payable transactions to QAWORX.
- Ensure accounting documents, records and reports are prepared, maintained and typed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure department files are appropriately maintained.
- Ensure financial Controller is kept appropriately informed of issues relevant in all other entities associated with CEPL.
- Ensure accounting functions are completed in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
- Keep Financial Controller informed on progress of tasks and any issues associated with the tasks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:

- Year 10 education minimum.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Conversant in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Previous Experience (minimum 2 years).
