Our ASX listed Client has experienced a doubling in EBIDTA in the past financial year and has a solid platform for growth and expansion into new territories. A leader in the resources sector, with headquarters in Melbourne and assets across Australia and the Americas, their focus is on high-quality production and exploration with a commitment to sustainability, local education, and biodiversity via a number of social and economic projects. This global business is seeking a new _Group IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Manager_ based in Melbourne to work closely with the CIO, CFO and IT team in the Americas.

**Position**

You will have 5 key focus areas:
- _ Strategy and Innovation -_ drive strategy, architecture, and projects across networks, cloud, and security. Build common global services consolidating a federated network into a single global instance upgrading to a global CISCO system
- _ Operational Service and Support_ **-** operational management of the Australian business across networks and infrastructure (modern workplace, LAN, WAN, comms, wireless, security), drive DR, backup and recovery
- _ Cybersecurity_ - establish cybersecurity management processes and systems from scratch, SOC, SIEM, Information Security and drive security awareness throughout the Group
- _ Management_ - financial management, budgeting and reporting with ownership of the infrastructure line items. People management of a small team, driving outcomes via outsourced partners
- _ Vendor Management_ - manage vendor performance to SLA's, service delivery, procurement and any future RFx processes ensuring value for money and quality. Initial focus is to work with the CIO to consolidate providers globally.

**Success Measures**
- 10+ year track record managing IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, information security, risk, and cybersecurity
- Global infrastructure and networks experience OR experience working overseas (South America, North America ideally)
- A strong relationship manager with background in global infrastructure and cloud operations and a keen interest in focusing on cybersecurity, governance risk and compliance (GRC)
- The ability to operate strategically, drive planning, deliver projects, whilst ensuring operational uptime and performance
- Manage global vendors, procurement and vendor management will be required on an international scale
- Outstanding financial management and budgetary management
- Strong people management and ability to influence outcomes
- Willingness to navigate three + time-zones with early morning calls, and quarterly international trips to the Americas for 2 weeks at a time
- Experience and knowledge of ISO27001, ISO3100, NIST, COBIT, Prince2 or PMBOK
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant certifications
