**Function & Catering Supervisor | BHP Adelaide**

**The Role**

The role will include the management and production of the client functions, to ensure a high standard of function catering is provided to meetings and events at BHP Adelaide. The role is also responsible for the delivery of high-quality consumables and service of coffee machines & tea points within the client workplace.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Liaising with the client on day-to-day activities
- Ensuring the coffee machines are serviced, managed and cleaned on a daily basis
- Ensuring kitchenettes are fully stocked with consumables.
- Manage the morning and afternoon staff members.
- Coordinate bookings details of all functions requiring service.
- Ensure all room and function set-up meets requirements/brief provided by the client are meet
- Work and adapt under pressure and multi task
- Ensure high standards of presentation are provided with all function food
- Liaise with clients in lead up to and start of key functions and events to ensure client expectations are exceeded
- Manage online payments to ensure all catering and event services are charged on time
- Implement of food safety knowledge and ensure food are serve according to food safety.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Food function preparation skills and experience
- Strong administration skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent knowledge of function software packages i.e. Foodstorm, Feldelta and Human Force
- Excellent knowledge on food safety.
