**METALLURGICAL TECHNICIAN ROLE**

Australian Minmet Metallurgical Laboratories Pty Ltd is an established mineral and metallurgical laboratory specialising in flotation, hydrometallurgy, gravity and comminution testwork. Locates in West Gosford NSW 2250, the laboratory provides metallurgical services to mining companies throughout Australia and overseas.

A vacancy exists for an experienced metallurgical technician. This is a full-time role which includes, but is not limited, to the following tasks:

- Sample preparation and handling
- Bulk sample preparation for testwork
- Preparation of samples for assay and mineralogy
- Particle size classification
- Wet and dry sieving
- Hydrocycloning
- Optical laser sizing
- Provide assistance in other metallurgical tasks such as gravity processing, flotation and leaching

Applicants will need:

- Minimum 3+ years experience working in a mineral processing laboratory.
- Local applicants and those willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.
- Be fit, healthy and tidy.
- Be prepared to undertake random drug and alcohol testing.
- Good numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
- Take direction and instruction from supervisors and be reliable, accurate and diligent in the work tasks with emphasis on attention to details
- Work and co-operate well with others in a team environment.
- Be able to work with mínimal direct supervision.
- Be focused, diligent and efficient to the tasks at hand.
- Be flexible in working arrangements, variable working hours and shift work are required.

Salary offered around $75,000, plus superannuation and other standard entitlements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
