This roster is 8 days on and 6 days off and a 12 hour day.

About the Role

This contract is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior technical role and grow your impact with Evolution at Cowal. Reporting to the Metallurgical Superintendent, you'll be right in the mix of plant performance, daily reviews, and guiding the team, all while building your leadership experience in a supportive environment.

Cowal is a great place to learn. You'll gain exposure across the full gold recovery circuit, from comminution and flotation to leaching and elution.

You will also take ownership of plant performance by maximising recovery, key systems like metallurgical accounting and reconciliation. You'll be involved in continuous improvement projects, giving you a well-rounded view of both operations and strategy, as well.

• Technical support to processing operations team in optimisation and maximizing plant performance
• Lead the metallurgical accounting and reconciliation process
• Support and guide Metallurgists, lab and metallurgical technicians
• Enjoy an 8/6 roster with free shared accommodation

About You

You're loving being a metallurgist in mining, and you're ready to take the next step. You've built up solid experience in plant operations and are keen to take on more responsibility, whether or not you've held a formal leadership title before.

You're someone who takes ownership, works well with others, and is always looking for ways to improve how things are done. If you're motivated by accountability, technical depth, and the chance to grow. This could be the obvious next step in your career with Evolution.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has around 5+ years' experience in plant operations
• Holds a degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing
• Is ready to lead, learn, and contribute to a high-performing team
