**Our Client**
STAFF X Talent Solutions is currently hiring for a well-established Electric Motor company in Australia that has been operating for more than 25 years. From catering the maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment needs of their customers in Electric Motors, Geared Motors, and Generators industries, our client has expanded its services to include on-site maintenance, installation, and plant upgrades, covering a wide range of rotating electrical plants such as Motors, Pumps, Fans, and Generators, making it a one-stop-shop for all electrical needs. They are now a part of a global group of companies, with its own line of Electric Motors, Geared Motors, and Variable speed drives.

**The Role**
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Fitter responsible for performing electrical and mechanical services for jobs both in the workshop and on-site as per the needs of the business. This can include a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and machinery. The position is located on-site in Seven Hills, NSW.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carrying out on-site service, repair, and refurbishment of electrical and mechanical machinery that is mainly located in New South Wales.
- Retrofitting existing equipment with VSD's, PLC's, and electrical switchgear.
- Mechanical fitting, machining works or electrical works (such as servicing motors, pumps, and gearboxes) for service jobs that are performed in the company's workshop.
- Efficiently managing scheduling and programming to ensure that the project meets requirements related to Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, time, and budget.
- Maintaining the highest level of workmanship quality and complying with QA requirements.
- Completing assigned jobs accurately and within the allotted time.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Relevant tertiary and/or electrical trade qualifications
- Electrical connect/disconnect license
- Proven technical experience and a detailed understanding of electrical motors
- Australian driver’s license
- Construction white card
- High degree of initiative and motivation
- Proven attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Strong organisational skills and communication skills
- HVAC experience is an advantage
