**About the Role**

CareSouth are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide individualised support for young people and adults 24 hours day in within a supported home model. The people you will be supporting can exhibit a range of complex behavioural support needs. You will have the support of a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes of people in a proactive environment.

We are looking for individuals who place the person first and are motivated to do what is best for them

**A day in the life of a Support Worker**

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be a part of an amazing team which works dynamically across the NDIS and child protection spectrum. A typical day could include:

- Transporting people to and from appointments, school, or programs
- Implementing Behaviour Support strategies
- Fostering independent living skills
- Assisting with household duties
- Mentoring and encouraging the achievement of goals
- Provide a fun and safe environment for the people in our care.
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply._
