What we’re looking for:
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.Skills and Attributes- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.-
- Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting.-
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.-
- Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.-
- Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader or similar role in an early childhood setting.-
- Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs can thrive and learn.-
- Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.-
- Proficiency in using relevant software for children's documentation, communication with families and educational planning.About us:
Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes is a 75 place service with warm and inviting learning spaces, and engaging outdoor play areas — with sandpits, a bike track, a climbing wall, a teepee, a bush tucker garden, and vegetable and herb gardens — where children are encouraged to ignite their sense of curiosity and discovery.
