We are an online retail brand specialising in children's hair accessories and are currently looking for a Manufacturing Assistant. This role will be work from home but will require you to visit our workshop in Alexandria once a week to pick up and drop off materials and items for the week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cutting materials.
- Assembling hair clips using a hot glue gun.
- Creating hair accessories.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Basic experience using a hot glue gun.
- Experience creating small items such as hair accessories and clips.
- Keen attention to detail.

As this is a freelance contractor role that offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to choose your own working hours as long as deadlines are consistently met, you will be required to have an ABN in order to work with us.

Please note, there will be an initial training period of 2-3 weeks in our warehouse before you will be able to start working from home. This training will be paid.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Contract

**Salary**: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Application Question(s):

- Do you have experience working with hand making items? Preferably with hot glue.
- Are you okay with repetitive work? You may be required to make hundreds of the same items each week.
- Are you okay to travel to our workshop in Alexandria for the initial training period of 2-3 weeks? Roughly around 20 hours of training each week for the 2-3 week period.
- Are you okay to travel to our warehouse in Alexandria once a week to pick up/drop off materials and items?
