We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Expo Administrator to support the Expo Coordinator for the upcoming International Disability Expo. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an impactful and large-scale event focused on showcasing innovations and solutions that enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. As an Expo Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and provides a positive experience for all attendees, exhibitors and sponsors
**Responsibilities**:
- Support event logistics including scheduling, setup, and teardown.
- Support vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries.
- Oversee registration processes for attendees, exhibitors, and guests.
- Handle ticket sales, distribution, and access control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.
- Collaborate with internal teams and volunteers for efficient event execution.
- Assist with marketing and promotion of the event (social media, digital content, etc.).
- Ensure smooth onsite operations, including technology setup and venue management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulations.
- Troubleshoot event-day issues and resolve conflicts quickly.
- Collect post-event feedback to improve future events.
- Prepare reports and event summaries after the expo.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Admin Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Working with Children Check (required)
- Drivers Licence (required)
- Police Check (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
