One of Australia’s leading **Federal Government Department** is looking to engage a skilled and experienced **Cloud Architect** to join their multidisciplinary team based in **Canberra.** Our client is looking to engage a **Cloud Architect** who can provide technical and strategic advice in other specialist areas, including seamless data movement, processing and governance, and pattern-based delivery architecture. The successful **Cloud Architect** will secure a **12-month contract** with **3x 12-month extensions** with a rewarding pay rate.

The successful **Cloud Architect** will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Assist in the formulation and creation of data integration solutions across the Departments data and analytic landscape.
- Work with teams to contribute to the successful delivery of new cloud hosted enterprise systems and subcomponents across the entire software development lifecycle.

The successful **Cloud Architect** will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience and expertise in data migration from Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub on premise (CDH) to cloud.
- Demonstrated experience in data architecture, including defining data acquisition patterns and governance.
- Proven ability to work with business users and technology stakeholders in solving problems, providing advice, and formulating solutions.
