A solid understanding of technical drawings, spatial interior, and product renderings is essential. Familiarity with creating animation videos or architectural fly-throughs is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- A master’s degree in Industrial Design or Product Design (preferred: Master’s in Integrated Product Design or Service System Design), along with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on projects from start to finish, overseeing design from concept through to final production and implementation.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, including Rhino, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong experience with rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, Blender).
- Experience in technical drawing, with an emphasis on to-scale drawings and precision.
- Solid background in spatial interior and product renderings, ensuring high-quality and visually compelling results.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, forging, moulding for composites, 3D printing).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports, including return briefs and project reports.
- Experience in graphic design, and a basic understanding of UX.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach, open to feedback and keen to engage with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong sketching and ideation skills, with the ability to prototype quickly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Conceptualisation & Documentation**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products, providing detailed design specifications through sketches, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- **Research & Analysis**: Conduct in-depth product research, analysing functional, commercial, cultural, and aesthetic requirements.
- **Concept Development**: Develop innovative design concepts for industrial, commercial, and consumer products.
- **Visual Communication**: Prepare visual communication materials, including sketches, diagrams, illustrations, plans, and models, to convey design concepts clearly.
- **Material & Process Selection**: Recommend materials, production methods, and finishes that align with design and functionality requirements.
- **Documentation**: Create and document detailed designs for mass or batch production.
- **Prototype Development**: Oversee the creation of prototypes and 3D models, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- **Brand and Packaging Design**: Assist in the development of branding and packaging materials.
- **Project Management**: Manage project schedules, provide regular updates, and present design proposals to stakeholders.
- **International Collaboration**: Travel abroad for project-related tasks, as needed.
