**We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Allied Health Professional to join our Mental Health Services Division.**

The Repat Neuro-Behavioural Unit (RNBU) provides high quality, compassionate, relationship-centred care to consumers living with dementia who experience associated behavioural and psychological symptoms at very severe to extreme levels. The care model places the person at the centre of individualised care including strong engagement with carers and loved ones both upon entry into the Unit and throughout the consumer journey.

**About the **role**:
Reporting to the Nursing Director Statewide & Specialty Services and the Allied Health Director Mental Health Services, your responsibilities will include:

- Provide consultancy and peer support on complex cases
- Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services provided by the allied health team and implementing service change and development accordingly
- Initiating and leading quality and service improvement activities, which may include research activities where appropriate
- Maintain adequate and meaningful records and statistics and preparation of appropriate reports to management to monitor and maximise resource utilisation
- Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations

**About you**:

- Demonstrated skills in communication, liaison, administration and teamwork
- Proven experience in a management or leadership role
- Clinical experience as a senior allied health practitioner
- Allied Health qualification (Bachelor or above) from a recognised tertiary institution
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency for relevant professions or eligibility for membership with relevant professional association where appropriate
