**About The Role**
This is an exciting role for a Commercial Analyst to join Arup’s Commercial Team in WA. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Analyst will focus mainly on the commercial/financial health of the Group’s small to medium projects as well as providing assistance to the Senior Commercial Analyst in relation to more complex projects.
**What will I do?**
- Assist Project Managers in setup and implementation of project specific commercial control processes (including dashboards, forecasts, change management plans).
- Ad-hoc analysis to help interpret the financial results and provide forward looking information to aid decision making. This will include financial modelling.
- Provide financial support and commentary on variance and trend analysis.
- Audit projects to ensure that Project Managers are tracking actuals against budgets, complying with contractual arrangements with regards to commercials/financials, carry out reporting of project financials and respond to queries from project teams, and other Commercial team members on performance issues.
- Assist in preparation of management reports, planning and budgeting.
**What will I bring?**
- 5+ years’ experience in project financial reporting and management
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cost tracking, and change management
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI
