**Customer Engagement Partner, Ophthalmology QLD**

**_ Where do you want to go?_**

An exciting role of a Customer Engagement Partner (CEP) has arisen to join the Bayer Pharma Ophthalmology team promoting a market leading medicine that improves the lives of thousands of patients each year with visual impairment.

This role looks after the South to Gold Coast, Northern NSW, Cairns, Rockhampton and Mackay territory.

As a CEP, you will be empowered to drive strategic outcomes within your portfolio. You will have regular contact with external customers and stakeholders, covering all potential opportunities to transform outcomes for patients. Being the face of Bayer locally, you will grow connections with specialists, key opinion leaders and understand the patients’ journeys.

The CEP focuses on proactively bringing the outside in, working with healthcare professionals to contribute to national strategy development and uncovering all potential opportunities to transform outcomes for patients faster.
- Plan and optimize your field activities, leveraging 90-day planning to align with strategic objectives
- Adhere to ethical standards, legal and regulatory guidelines, and ensure actions align with company values
- Deep dive into uncovering, understanding and validating patient journeys, in conjunction to bringing your Bayer expertise, science and knowledge of the therapeutic ecosystem
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals
- Adapt to changes in business needs, market dynamics, and customer feedback, and be ready to pivot quickly in response to emerging trends
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages knowledge sharing and problem-solving
- Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions
- Stay informed on industry knowledge, product information and influencing techniques
- Utilize digital tools and technologies to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and stay connected with teams and customers
- Collect relevant data and feedback to inform and guide your squads, driving continuous improvement and customer-centricity

**_Does this sound like you?_**
- Knowledge of Ophthalmology is essential
- Solid business acumen, with an expertise in customer experience excellence
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Deep understanding of patient journeys and related treatments
- Previous experience working in agile organisations and/or in 90 day planning cycles (desirable)
- Deep listening skills and strong influencing skills
- Be highly proactive and self-motivated
- Comfortable with driving distances within your territory, interstate and regional travel may be required.
- Knowledge of compliance with Medicines Australia code of conduct
- Able to understand and leverage digital tools to make informed decision
- Unwavering desire to always be improving patient care
