Let’s care for everyone’s tomorrow so we can create a better future together. **Risk and Compliance Analyst | Sydney NSW (preferred)** The primary purpose of this Line 1 role is to support the implementation, execution and monitoring of the compliance management framwork in a Division, to ensure that compliance risk is appropriately identified, assessed and monitored. **You'll be responsible for**: - Support the Division with the development, execution and monitoring of remedial activity for compliance incidents. - Provide guidance on root cause(s), identify actions to be implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future and help to ensure compliance incidents are resolved in a timely manner. - Provide analysis of thematic risk and compliance issues arising from control self-assessment results, compliance incidents/breaches, risk incidents and operational losses, escalating incidents/breaches to relevant stakeholders. - Advise on compliance related matters and on the development of processes and action plans as necessary to manage compliance issues faced by the division. - Implement appropriate reports (e.g. dashboard) and ongoing reporting on compliance performance. - Assist in preparing for and facilitating root cause analysis and other workshops including maintaining relevant documentation. - Contribute to strengthening the divisional risk culture through increasing awareness of risk management and compliance. **Important to your success**: - Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. - Experience in an analyst, audit or risk and compliance role for a complex, matrixed general insurance / financial services organisation preferred. - Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making. - Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands. - Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence. **What's on offer?** - Access on-demand lifelong learning and take control of your career development. - Learn through being supported and encouraged to take on new challenges that will help you to develop new skills - Be part of a team that’s open-minded, supportive, approachable and genuinely focused on customer outcomes - We understand about work-life balance, we are always willing to discuss flexible & remote working options with our employees.
