**The Client**
Our client is a well know utilities brand in WA that is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team based in the Perth CBD on permanent full-time basis.

**The Role**
The Financial Analyst is responsible for proactively partnering with the business, whilst maintaining a comprehensive suite of financial reports. Reporting into the Accounting Tax & Credit Team Leader, your duties will include but not limited to:

- Prepare month-end, half-year and year end deliverables, budget/forecast models and transactional reporting
- Prepare reports that monitor and record KPIs and provide relevant commentary
- Maintain and prepare forecasts including the management of cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Liaise with a range of internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely financial information and helping them understand the financial performance of the business
- Analyse variances and prepare journals based on various data sources
- Respond to auditor queries in a timely and efficient manner

**About You**
As an ideal applicant, you will have:

- Bachelor of Commerce or similar
- CPA/CA qualification or working towards
- Previous experience in finance/accounting roles
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to manage productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of good financial governance practice and an understanding of key financial and business variables
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to operate effectively within a changing environment
