The Mechanical / General Hand will be responsible for continually monitoring the housekeeping of the RØDE campuses and take the necessary actions to ensure company assets clean, safe and tidy state they will also provide support for managing and maintaining these assets.
We want you
- Your responsibilities will include the following;
- Continually monitoring the housekeeping of the campus and take the necessary actions to ensure it remains clean, safe and tidy state.
- Managing and maintaining workshops, green areas, storerooms, buildings and manufacturing equipment.
- Assist and work with the other work areas across the campus.
- Contractor Supervision
- Actively promote and maintain safe operational standards in the workplace.
- Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Provide afterhours assistance when required.
- Conduct audits on maintenance processes and procedures to ensure compliance to the maintenance processes and procedures.
- Support Infrastructure Team with overall asset and maintenance process related improvements
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support the Infrastructure Team
- We will provide you with the tools and environment to enable you to be successful, but you will be required to bring with you;
- Have a true passion for maintaining facilities and assets and with a view to continuously improve, with the ability to analyse and provide recommendations on maintenance excellence, efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability impact.
- Trade equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Previous experience a Mechanical / General Hand and property maintenance
- Forklift licence
- Motor vehicle drivers’ licence
- Knowledge of building and mechanical maintenance
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- High level safety awareness and ethics
- Experience working with a CMMS
