Account Manager - Private Equity

**Description**

Do you have fund accountancy experience, and are you seeking a new full-time job in Sydney, Australia? Apex Group is looking for a Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager.

As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing a team of Senior Fund Accountants and fund accountants involved in the areas of NAV calculation, shareholder/unitholder reporting and financial reporting. You will maintain the client relationship and take responsibility for the coordination of regulatory reporting audit preparation, along with the company's new client take-on and due diligence requirements.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

- Ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations are prepared, reviewed and delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis along with any other client specific reporting requirements
- Ensure their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedures
- Operational onboarding of new and take-on funds and ensuring everything has been prepared prior to the launch
- Review Limited Partner/Shareholder/Unitholder Allocation - includes a review of Admin/ Management fees/Waterfall/ Clawback calculations, etc
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements as required annually.

You will also require the following:

- An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines
- An accountancy qualification
- Excellent collaboration and written communication skills
- Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience on Paxus, Efront an advantage).
