**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide compassionate and respectful support to clients with disabilities and mental health conditions.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Support clients in managing their mental health, including providing emotional support and coping strategies.
- Facilitate community engagement and participation in social and recreational activities.
- Monitor and document client progress, and report any changes or concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and appropriate support strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 24 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- CFA Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Infection and Prevention Control Certificate (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
