The opportunity
This role forms part of our Customer Experience & Design team, with a dedicated group of service design practitioners who partner with the business to design and cocreate solutions to uplift the human/customer experience in line with strategy.
Your new role
We are currently seeking a Service Designer to join the team on an ongoing basis. Working closely with stakeholders across our broad and complex organisation, your role will be to help solve complex business problems utilising design thinking and a HCD approach as part of a project team.
On a regular basis, this role will involve:
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to evolve the experience for humans impacted by the service experience, including our customers, employees and partners- Analysing quantitative and qualitative data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement- Conducting customer research, drawing on qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand the human experience of our customers, employees and partners within the problem space- Creating service blueprints and solution prototypes to demonstrate the proposed solution design and align stakeholders to a common vision
About you
To be successful in this role, your story will involve demonstrated experience and success in a strategy, customer experience design, service design and/or UX design environment, with a preference for prior exposure to service industries such as finance and insurance, telecommunications, health etc. As you will be moving between projects and problem spaces, you’ll demonstrate an ability to quickly gain a working understanding of specialist business units/areas, and comfort operating with numerous “unknowns” whilst learning on the fly.
You will have:- Experience delivering customer experience solutions in corporate environments.- Strong ability to work with stakeholders across all levels of the business-
- Proven success working within a project and/or change management environment will be highly regarded.
