Immediate Start
- Rapidly growing company with fantastic career development opportunities
- Supportive team environment

**Why this is a great opportunity** This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administration coordinator to join a well-established and stable company with great growth opportunities.

You'll be a valued member of a leading engineering company working within the defense and resource sector, supported by a much-loved Manager and wider friendly, down to earth and supportive team mates.

You will receive extensive support and training from the other internal sales coordinator / administrator to ease you into your role and the luxury of managing your own day with true role ownership, allowing you to achieve your professional goals and ensure your job satisfaction.

Located in O’Connor out of the city hustle and bustle this role boasts a very generous base salary and great bonuses, and has a lot to offer outside of just the role itself

**What you will be doing**:
As part of the Internal Sales / Administration Support you will have access to and support from the close-knit sales and admin team in providing the best solutions for your client portfolio and the business unit manager to whom you report. Your day to day tasks will include:

- Receiving incoming customer orders and working with the engineering and service team to assign and complete tasks
- General administration support to the Business Unit Manager including assisting with project engineering documentation as required
- Keeping product/equipment registers/schedule up to date
- Administration and support in the preparation and submittal of quotes, proposals and tenders
- Providing reports to Business Unit Manager as requested
- Where appropriate advising customers on equipment selection, features and benefits of products within your scope of knowledge

You’ll build a great rapport with your new highly-respected and interesting clients over the phone, and also potentially do some local travel to ‘put a face to the name’.

This is a hands-on and relationship driven role, so maintaining strong professional relationships will be the key to your success.

You will support the external sales team in completing orders and if you’d enjoy doing so, even perhaps conduct product demonstrations and in-service training and attend conferences with the team too You will also get involved with supporting the Business Unit Manager in any project and business related administration and documentation to ensure the team meets their project deadlines.

**Requirements**:
It’s a somewhat technical role in relation to some of the engineering and equipment / service delivered but certainly not one that is difficult to learn, in fact numerous people within the team have used this role as a stepping stone in their professional growth moving up the ranks up the company. To succeed you will need:

- High organisation skills, time management and strong attention to detail
- Good people skills and desire to share valuable information with others
- Ability to prioritise and managing shifting priorities / change
- Disciplined approach to planning and maintaining records
- Good communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Manual handling ability of 15-20kg for infrequent movement of equipment during testing period or upon return of hire

You may be a project administrator, sales support administrator, account manager, internal sales engineer, engineering administrator or even a strong EA looking for a change, or you may simply have similar experience in supporting a product or sales function in a technical environment with good customer/client service skills - we are very open minded The main thing our client is looking for is someone who has some relevant admin or internal sales experience, is switched on, and will fit into their friendly and down to earth team (a continued happy and collaborative team culture is key).

So, if you want to work in a friendly and vibrant environment where there is lots happening, lots of room to develop and grow, are a sucker for detail, are proactive, want to work with the biggest names in the business, love organising and running your own show, and have some sales or technical/engineering/project exposure - then this could be the dream role for you
