**Your new role**

As the Structural Revit Drafter/Modeller you will:

- Prepare from a structural engineer’s concept design a concise set of well-co-ordinated structural plans, elevations and sections and details of footings, and superstructure;
- Prepare specific details with the guidance of engineers, the structural details to represent the support required for architectural elements of the building;
- Be experienced at documenting concrete foundations, structural steel, reinforced concrete and precast concrete;
- Undertake design development and detailed design of structural works to prepare documentation for tender using AutoCAD 2D and Revit models, with sound project experience in Revit modelling being well regarded.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be between 4 and 10 years’ experience within the Australian structural engineering design consultancy field within Building industry;
- Possess the ability to work from an Architect's or Client provided floor plans and manipulate X-Ref layers or BIM modelling in Revit to LOD3 level.
- Possess sound analytical skills and knowledge of the latest versions of relevant Australian Standards relating to structural documentation standards.
- Possess the ability to work in a team and with other members of the company project team including senior or lead engineers, other design civil and structural engineers, graduate engineers and drafters to co-coordinate the project documentation.
- Possess the ability to liaise with and work with project Architects, other engineering consultants and builders.

Other qualities and tasks necessary to fulfil the position include:

- Attendance at meetings to progress and co-ordinate detailing and complete shop drawing RFI’s prepared by others will be well regarded.
- Working on multiple projects during the working week.
- Being up-to-date with current technologies around the arena of AutoCAD and Revit software
- Willingness to enjoy and contribute to a working environment based on teamwork, collaboration and interaction at all levels of the work environment from Administration staff, drafters, engineers, Directors and Clients.
