**About Your Role - Inventory Manager**

A unique opportunity has become available for an **Inventory Manager to join our highly driven Underwater Systems team based on-site in HMAS Stirling, WA. **In this key role, you will be responsible for the management of all inventory aspects for the project and supporting key maintenance activities in relation to defence equipment supply and equipment calibration, surveying and testing activities.

Working in a multi-discipline environment, you will collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders and technical experts to proactively manage risks as they arise.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Complete inventory planning and forecasting
- Ensure all equipment and tools are within agreed expiry, surveying and calibration parameters
- Equipment receipt, storage and distribution management
- Liaison with Customer, OEM and Equipment Suppliers
- Support the conduct of project Contractual Reviews
- Reviewing and providing input to ILS documentation as required
- Issuing and following up in conjunction with the OEM any equipment Defect Reports and repair of items
- Support the management of the project, identify immerging risks, opportunities and develop solutions to operational issues

**About You?**
- **Previous experience as an inventory manager**:

- **Experienced in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment**:

- Good knowledge of MS Suite, MILIS & COMSARM /inventory management data systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to partner with all levels of the business
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team whilst achieving objectives
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
