**People and Workplace Design Advisor**

1 x Permanent Full Time, 35 hours, 5 days per week

As a result, we have an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled People and Workplace Design Advisor to provide support to our People and Culture team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE.**

LCC is searching for a People and Workplace Design Advisor to join its Human Resources team, this role will provide you exposure to a wide range of HR activities and matters, enabling you to build upon your experience in a complex environment. This is a fantastic growth opportunity as you take the next step in your HR career with the guidance and support of experienced mentors.

This role will see you providing all-round HR operational and administrative support to the People and Culture team, participating in significant projects; improving the control and management of the organisations staffing establishment; salary benchmarking; reporting on HR metrics;position description management and improvement; people management and ensuring legislative compliance and drafting a range of HR correspondence.

**ABOUT YOU.**

To be successful in this position you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources or Business Administration or significant proven experience in the field
- Proven experience with managing anorganisation structure and resource establishment, position management, job design, job analysis and job evaluation processes.
- Experience, ideally within a human resources team or related functional area where you have managed a varied workload with competing priorities.
- Ensuring that all HR Services and transactions are made in accordance with awards, agreements, government policy and procedures and all other legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support in one or more human resources or related functional areas, including using MS Office
- Robust experience with an HRMS in managing HR data and an organisational establishment and proven capability to quickly learn new systems (note that Council currently uses Aurion)
