**The Opportunity**
We are seeking to recruit a trainee to support our growth plans for our concrete scanning (CSS) and utility locating (ULS) divisions.
CSS and ULS are widely regarded as the most professional and competent service providers in their respective fields. This is reflected by the quality of our customer portfolio and the complex and challenging projects that we have successfully completed over the last 12 years.
We are often required to scan concrete prior to cutting to locate and identify structural steel configuration and or any services that might be concealed within the concrete structure.
This it to avoid damaging steel that will impact the structural integrity of the concrete structure or any services such as power or communications that is sometimes concealed inside the concrete.
In addition we also provide a utility locating service to locate and identify in-ground services to avoid damage during the excavation process.
We have experienced an increase in demand for these services as the building & construction industry recognises the significance of the information that is critical to reduce the risk of structural or services damage.
We have invested in market leading Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Locator (EML) equipment from GSSI, Mala and Radiodetection.
CCS will provide extensive training by industry experts in all aspects of concrete scanning and utility locating methodologies including detailed electronic report writing.

- Competent using office 365 suite and Adobe software
**Experience & Qualifications**
Minimum 1+ years experience working in the building & construction industry.
Any trade related experience would be useful.
Any knowledge of concrete structures or utility service locating would be beneficial.
Previous experience with the use of GPR equipment and Radiodetection or similar pipe & cable locating equipment would be advantageous.
**Responsibilities & Duties**
In a trainee role the intial focus will be to provide expert training on the range of our specialised concrete scanning and utility locating equipment and the fundamentals of the services we provide.
