Your job is to deliver high quality communication supporting the TGA and our stakeholders. You’ll be a natural collaborator with success in breaking down organisational barriers to achieve outcomes.

The key responsibilities of the APS 6 TGA Business Services Team Leader include:

- Strategically manage resources to meet competing priorities
- Manage the Business Support Unit (BSU) and TGA Business Services (TBS) teams
- Support the delivery of an enterprise-wide enquiry management project
- Manage IT enhancements and day-to-day operations
- Develop and maintain a suite of policies and procedures
- Deliver high quality reports to inform evidence-based decision making
- Develop and maintain excellent networks to achieve deliverables
- Maintain standardised communications and knowledge base articles
- Provide surge capacity support for the TBS and TCC teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain excellent networks to achieve deliverables
- Lead by example in challenging circumstances
- Managing and coordinate complex enquiries, as applicable, within the TBS Team or further to other relevant regulatory business areas within TGA.
- Actively manage enquiry queues to meet customer service standards (TBS)
- Ensuring the provision of quality advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to the operation of therapeutic goods processes, systems and legislation.
- Flexibility in contributing to team goals and broader organisational objectives by undertaking other tasks as required.
- Provide support to Assistant Director as required.
