
Disability Support Worker

Every Support Worker we recruit is individually matched to the personality, goals and expectations of people we support (our Members).
We’re looking for **experienced support workers only** for our Member who lives with her family in **Fremantle area.**
**Our Member and Family would like female workers to apply**
This is to support a young woman with daily living activities in the home as well as social outings in the local community. Our Member enjoys going to the gym, swimming and dancing. She also enjoys spending time around Fremantle and local parks, and is in her element in most social settings.
We’re looking for people who will connect and engage well with our Member, their family and other people who are important to her, so **great interpersonal skills** are a must.
Training and mentoring provided for our Member support needs so that they are comfortable and confident providing support independently.
**Schedule could look like below**:
- Afternoon shift - 3.30pm - 6.30/7.30pm
- Day shift - 7.00am - 1.00pm/2.00pm
- Some weekend work available
- Public holidays

- **You must have experience with challenging behaviours**:
- **You must have Autism Experience.**
Before starting in the role, we do need you to:
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check, and other ‘Checks’.**:
- **have a valid Australian Drivers Licence and your own reliable vehicle.**:
- **undertake, or be willing to undertake, an NDIS Module.**
