A unique opportunity has arisen within the Office of the Building Commissioner (OBC) for an enthusiastic Program Manager, Education to work in the education team on a variety of exciting projects designed to lift skills and capabilities in the building and construction industry.

**About the team**

The OBC within the Department of Customer Service (DCS) is a team of highly motivated officers working on construction industry reform projects. The education team manages the Digital Learning Platform for the whole of DCS in partnership with TAFE NSW to deliver new, high-quality online micro-skill modules to the industry.

The OBC is a fun, friendly, fast-paced and diverse team. Your mission (should you choose to accept it) will include, and by no means be limited to:

- Develop and maintain stakeholder and customer relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to identify new learning opportunities and progress existing ones
- Engage with senior leaders to assist in the design and review of modules
- Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of learning programs
- Manage the coordination of events and logistics for learning initiatives to ensure effective service delivery
- Drive the team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
- Manage project tracking, financials and reporting, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes, and within budget
- Continuously monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation and contribute ideas to improve processes and systems ensuring they achieve project outcomes and support the growth of the platform.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, and curious in your approach to better understand the issues and stakeholders we work with
- Preferred experience working with technical specialists in delivering programs of work to the community.
