We are looking for an experienced **Production Manager** to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure we continue delivering exceptional products and service to our customers.

**About the Role**

As Production Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end glass manufacturing process within our facility. This role calls for a strategic leader who can manage people and resources effectively, optimise workflows, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll play a key role in meeting production targets while driving efficiency, reducing costs, and inspiring your team to perform at their best.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily production, ensuring efficient use of machinery, staff, and materials
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer orders on time
- Lead and mentor the production team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintain and enforce high standards of safety and quality control
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities for savings through process optimisation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows across the business
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team
- Track and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. You’ll have a proven ability to manage production in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for motivating teams and delivering outstanding results.

**Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years in production management, ideally in manufacturing (glass industry experience highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control processes
- Experience leading diverse teams and building positive, high-performance cultures
- Proficiency in manufacturing systems, inventory management, and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of workplace health & safety standards and compliance requirements
