The Opportunity
Our Care Managers are a key role in our organisation with the goal to create a happy, welcoming, caring, and safe environment for residents and staff. Working in an established community, you will be committed to providing high quality service and your care will be second to none. This involves working closely and managing our wonderful Care delivery team, liaising with residents, families, and external health professionals on a regular basis, to help enable a retirement lifestyle full of choice, security, and enjoyment.
You will partner closely with the Community Manager to ensure a cohesive, supportive, and seamless approach to the community life.
You will
- Provide exceptional clinical leadership and operational management to the Care team.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of care and support services for residents
- Monitor care team staffing runs and workflows to ensure they are always aligned to resident support plans and budgets
- Oversee the work practices of all care staff and provide direction, guidance and training as required to ensure the provision of safe and quality care is provided
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, and internal and external stakeholders
- Manage budgets for the care operations within the community.
- Recruitment, induction, training, and supervision of care employees.
- Manage staff performance in accordance with Aveo policies, up to and including disciplinary action.
- Ensure all residents' preferences and lifestyle wishes are respected and promoted.
- Provide a culture of lifestyle activities and wellness that improve the outcomes of residents' lives.

What you'll bring
- Management experience in a similar role
- Highly developed clinical assessment skills and the ability to lead the care team
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of funding streams or the ability to pick up funding streams quickly
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality clinical care with compassion
- Proficient in the use of technology and digital systems
