Creature Technology Co. is looking for a 3D Generalist / Animator / Designer.
CORE DUTIES
- Produce high level 3D animation and visualization
- Undertake general 3D design tasks as assigned
- Work with Creative Director and others to resolve design issues
- Collaborate with all departments in support of their design and fabrication tasks
- Advocate new workflows where efficiency or quality gains may be available
- Produce prototypes and production parts through rapid/machine assisted technology
- Prioritise own work in consultation with HoD and report regularly on progress
- Produce work on agreed schedule and to CTC quality control standards
- Operate equipment and handle materials safely and correctly
- Comply with CTC’s policies and procedures and with relevant legislation and regulations
- Take active responsibility for own and colleagues’ Occupational Health and Safety, assisting to maintain a safe and healthy workplace
- Other duties within the scope of the position as directed

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Advanced understanding of 3D animation tools and techniques
- High level proficiencies in Maya, ZBrush & Photoshop
- Familiarity with a variety of 3D formats
- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and achieve milestones
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision either as an individual or part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving work demands and schedules
- Good communication skills including the ability to interpret instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS
- A relevant tertiary qualification together with technical work experience or equivalent skill and competence acquired through extensive technical work experience.
