Point Cook, Australia Maths and English Tutoring Full time

As a Casual Tutor specializing in English and Mathematics, the primary responsibility involves face-to-face instruction adhering to the Singapore syllabus for students aged 3½ to 14 years. This role demands a solid understanding of the curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. In addition to delivering engaging lessons, the tutor is responsible for grading students' work, whether or not they have been directly instructed, and preparing lesson materials for students. Collaboration through meetings and training sessions is essential for professional development and staying updated with educational best practices. Furthermore, regular engagement with parents is vital, as it fosters a supportive learning environment and helps track student progress, ensuring that each child achieves their potential academically.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.23 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
