**About the role**

As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

- Perform general labor tasks in the galvanizing department.
- Follow safety protocols and wear provided leather PPE during galvanizing operations.
- Assist in the preparation and cleaning of steel or iron articles for galvanizing.
- Work collaboratively with the galvanizing team to ensure efficient and high-quality operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members..

**To be successful, you will possess the following**:

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to wear provided leather PPE during galvanizing operations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
