**We are looking for a Security Engineer with great project management skills to join our remediation team.**
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Cyber Security, the main purpose of this role is to ensure that:
- Findings from audits, scans, pen testing etc. are managed effectively end to end
- Provide technical advice & hands on support to solve potential security threats/issues
**You must have previous experience in a Security Engineering position & great organisational / project management skills to be considered for this role.**
As Cuscal’s Security Remediation Lead - Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Prioritise a backlog of cyber and technology findings identified during internal and external audit assessments.
- Work with the key stakeholders documenting the remediation action for each of the findings
- identify the resources/effort required to resolve security issues
- Create the associated tickets/backlog items on the Boards to track findings to closure
- Escalate early any potential risks/issues/roadblocks.
- Assist with the teams on-going reporting requirements, status reports etc.
- Work ‘Hands-on’ as required to help in the successful remediation of Security issues.
**About You**
Due to the nature of Cuscal as a business, Security is extremely critical and as such this position is of great importance to the organisation.
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in Security in a hands-on capacity who has also had experience in Stakeholder management, Project Management & building well organised processes to ensure remediation issues are always resolved within good time & as a priority.
We are looking for someone who has an enjoyment of building out and uplifting processes and capabilities, a champion who can take control of security remediation & hold stakeholders accountable to drive outcomes.
We are looking for someone who has a broad understanding of IT security including previous experience in vulnerability management and Vulnerability tools.
