**Job description**

We now have a position for a Garden Maintenance Expert to join our team due to the continued success of our business. This is a fascinating, hands-on position in which you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved in maintaining our clients' gorgeous gardens around the Perth metro area.

**Principal Responsibilities**:
You should be enthusiastic about all things horticulture and driven by a desire to look after and maintain the properties of our clients. While enjoying the great outdoors, you will be responsible for maintaining gardens to high standards in a variety of locations.

Duties can include:

- General tree and shrub pruning, hedging, and shaping
- Moving or lifting large product loads like minerals and fertilisers
- Hedging and edging with mowers, brush cutters, and pruners
- Weeding, planting and mulching
- Weed management (manual removal and minor herbicide use)
- General grounds maintenance tasks, as directed by the Lead Gardener
- Maintaining equipment and vehicles

**What we require of you**:

- Prior gardening experience, is highly beneficial (not required)
- Hold a valid C class Australian manual drivers licence
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Working in a fast-paced setting
- A desire to work in the great outdoors
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience with hand held tools such as edger, whipper snipper, chainsaw and pole saw
- Physically capable of performing manual labour that includes some demanding activities and heavy lifting
- Honest, reliable, punctual and conscientious
- Well-presented and professional in the company of our clients
- A strong commitment to safety and the capacity to follow procedures as required
- Friendly with a "can-do" attitude

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
