What You Will Achieve
Internally known as the Visual Inspection (VI) Technical Specialist, this position is responsible for supporting the technical functions associated with Inspection Equipment, processes and associated technologies. Including but not limited to the VI Program elements, capital projects relating to VI and associated quality and compliance programs. The main purpose of this position will be to support the development and delivery of the Visual Inspection Program whilst interfacing with key site stakeholders and global support teams.
This position is a 12 month fixed term contract. Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Full GMP training will be provided and this is a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed graduate to kick start their career within the Pharmaceutical industry.
How You Will Achieve It
Direct support of VI program contemporisation by via the implementation of:
- Sites remediation plan to the 2020 VI Assessment
- Visual Inspection Defect Trending (VIDT) tool Phase 2
Support the introduction and validation of:
- Semi-Automated Visual Inspection (SAVI) machines in parallel
- Introduction of the Clips inspection method
- Inspection related activities associated with other site capital projects (eg. ATM-AVI)
Support maintenance of the VI programs compliance to required quality systems through:
- Completion of deviations relating to the VI defect, I&P equipment/process batch related deviations and the program itself.
- Supporting the maintenance of Regulatory Compliance
- Closure of VI CAPAs related to audit citations, or deviations.
- Coach and mentor VI operators and colleagues on the quality, compliance and efficiency goals developed through the VI program project plans.
**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related discipline is required for this role
- Demonstrated work prioritization skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Well-developed computer Literacy
- Strong attention to detail
